Rehearse and perform an original short play, while continuing to work on diction, character development, body awareness, and ensemble building. We’ll even throw in a song or two! Perform on the final day of class for your family. Returning students who have taken this class before are always welcome, as scripts are new each session. This class builds on the fall and winter sessions of Kids Invent Theatre however new students may sign up if they wish.

Performers serious about exploring the art of acting are assigned roles in short plays and monologues to emphasize working in a professional environment. Beginners are challenged with learning lines and blocking. Advanced actors can delve in to the emotional life of the character and gain a finer understanding of how to manipulate stage space. Be ready to give it your all!
