W25 Kid Invent Theatre: Play On! Session A
Grades 4-6 • Saturdays, 9:30-11:00 AM, Jan. 4 – Mar. 8, 2025 • $225 Subscribers/$235 Non-subscribers
Put those newly-honed acting skills to work, rehearsing and performing an original play. Continue to work on diction, character development, and body awareness while also exploring ensemble building. Perform the play on the final day of class for your family! Returning students who have taken this class before are always welcome, as scripts are new each session. This class builds on the fall session's Kids Invent Theatre: Fall Playmakers however new students may sign up if they wish.
SB25 Making a Play

Audition for roles, rehearse and polish your scenes, design and create backdrops and props, all in five days! Perform for family and friends on the final day.

Teen Scene: The Clearing

One summer, some teenagers find themselves in a clearing in the woods. Some are searching and some are hiding. Some are lost and some are found. The Clearing is a series of ten vignettes: sweet, witty, and poignant. Rehearse then perform for family on the final day.

Can a robot survive in the wilderness? Robot Roz discovers she is alone on a deserted island. As she befriends the animals on the island she realizes her best hope is to learn from them. Work on scenes inspired by the tale of what happens when nature and technology collide. Parents invited the final day for a showcase!

Based on the popular book by Kate McKinnon! At the Millicent Quibb School of Etiquette, the pizza is fatal and the bus is powered by gerbils.
