This weeklong musical theatre camp builds confidence, creativity, and collaboration through singing, dancing, and acting. Campers will learn age-appropriate songs and choreography in a supportive environment and share an informal musical showcase with parents on the final day. Returning campers will enjoy all new material!

Picture books are the introduction to the magic of storytelling for children. We’ll dramatize some of our favorites each week, and bring favorite characters and stories to life, in fun, creative atmosphere. We’ll introduce basic theatre concepts, while reinforcing literacy and cooperation skills.

WB26 Silly Superheroes

Grades K-1 • Dec. 21, 22, 23 • 9:30 AM-11:30 AM • $110 Subscribers/$120 Non-subscribers

Create your own original superhero, complete with special powers and a silly weakness. Act out scenes where you can save the day, such as catching a falling star or saving a lost puppy, and design your own superhero costume and superhero symbol! Sharing for parents on the last day.

Calling all masterminds! Create your own supervillain character, complete with a special silly superpower. Build an imaginary secret lair, practice dramatic whispers and big booming laughs and navigate "laser" mazes made of yarn. Parent sharing on the final day!

Each week we'll choose a different book to dramatize, along with other special items that we can use to tell the story. Is it a pencil or a giant’s toothpick? What else could it be? The sky’s the limit when we use our imaginations in this creative drama class.
