The Poe Plays tells the story of four teens serving detention. When the lights go out, they entertain themselves by reading from a book filled with modern adaptations of Edgar Allan Poe’s most famous stories. Can they read to the end before fear or something worse overcomes them? Design and create a whole production including, sound, set, and props. Registration now open!

Picture books are the introduction to the magic of storytelling for children. We’ll dramatize some of our favorites each week, and bring favorite characters and stories to life, in fun, creative atmosphere. We’ll introduce basic theatre concepts, while reinforcing literacy and cooperation skills.

F25 Creative Characters: FUNdamentals Session A

This hybrid of creative drama and performance was created especially for those 2nd and 3rd graders who are ready to begin a more disciplined approach to theatre. While keeping it fun and light, young actors will use scripted and original material to focus on creating a character and collaborating with others in an ensemble. This is a beginning acting class that focuses on vocal projection and fluency, expressiveness and body awareness. Returning students welcome!
Parents can attend an informal showcase on the last day of class.*
