Each class always starts with a good story, with characters and places that leap out of the pages of a book. Where will be go from there? It’s up to you! Beginning acting skills, body awareness, self-expression, and literacy skills are reinforced.

MAKING A SCENE

Grades 1-2 • March 16-20, 2026 • 12:30-3:30 PM • $180 Subscribers/$190 Non-Subscribers

Drawing from favorite children’s plays such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Miss Nelson is Missing, Junie B. Jones,and more, perform scenes in large and small groups. Have fun while working on beginning acting skills and ensemble building. Parents are invited on the final day for a scene showcase. New scenes each session for returning campers!

Children explore singing and movement in this fun, creative, explorative class centered around musical theatre. Participate in our spring musical revue showcase for family and friends on the final day.

Turn silly, underwater stories, like Never Trust a Fish, into playful scenes and stories. Through movement, drama games, and imaginative storytelling, students act out fin-tastic adventures full of humor and creativity. Parents are invited on the last day for an informal sharing time!

Aarghh, young lads and lassies! Join us to tell stories of mayhem on the high seas, with tales of buried treasure, and magical myths of mermaids and fairies.

Join us for a camp inspired by silly “grumpy” storybooks, like Grumpy Monkey and The Grumpalump. Act out stories, play drama games, and explore big feelings through movement, imagination, and laughter—all while learning the basics of theatre and storytelling. There will be a parent sharing on the final day.

Explore “sticky” stories inspired by books like On Account of the Gum, Stuck, and others. Through imaginative play, movement, and theatre games, create characters, act out silly problems, and work together to find creative solutions. Family and friends are invited to an end-of-week sharing filled with laughter and big imaginations!
